Supply and Installation of Cladding to an External Canopy

Due to storage requirements, Eden Construction were contracted to clad in single skin an external canopy to stop any water ingress. Increasing the dry storage space of the factory. Purlins were installed, and heavy duty sag bars were required to span the large lengths between the existing steel columns. 

The project included the following works:

• Drilling and tapping of existing steel coloumns and install custom brackets in place
• Install 1No. new steel column complete with new stanchion base
• Supply and install 200mm purlins in place
• Install custom sag bars with tubular sleeves to support the weight
• Supply and install single skin Vandyke Brown cladding sheets
• Install drip flashing to new run of cladding
